Process & Service Costs
At Blue River Counseling, the treatment process will typically progress through the following steps:
Step 1: Consultation
A free 30-45 minute conversation that allows prospective clients an opportunity to ask questions about counseling with me at my practice. This consultation also allows me to gather information and assess if the client's needs will be best served at Blue River Counseling, LLC.
Step 2: Initial Assessment

A 90-minute meeting that allows me to ask questions and get to know you, the client, better. During assessment, I will gather information on relevant personal history and spend time discussing with client(s) what their desired goals are for the counseling process.
Step 3: Sessions

The duration and frequency of sessions will be determined based on the circumstances and needs of each client. Sessions will always be driven by the client's treatment goals and objectives established during the initial assessment.

Step 4: Termination
When treatment goals and objectives have been completed or progressed upon to the client's satisfaction, this is often an indication that the client is ready to complete treatment and terminate services. Termination will always include a review of the treatment process as to ensure long-term maintenance and continued practice of treatment concepts and skills.
